I love having my nephews over for play dates, and they love coming over to hang with their Aunty Ky. I always look seriously crazy when kids come over to our home. I get down onto the floor into strange animal positions, I pull funny faces, I make weird car or train noises, I cuddle them tight and tickle them with kisses and I always manage to squeeze out a cute little giggle and infectious smile from the wee babes. I also love playing dress ups with them, they might be boys but they look so darn cute when they are rocking a handsome outfit. Besides, they are still too young to get embarrassed by all the attention.
I love seeing kids dressed nicely. They don’t have to be dollied up in expensive designer brands to look exceptionally fashionable though. There are endless amounts of trendy brands available to you these days and they can be reasonably priced and accessible to you online or in store. With all the amazing and affordable options that are now out there, you can throw out the daggy trackies and mud stained runners and invest in some stylish yet comfortable pieces for this coming season.
I recently walked into Karrinyup Shopping Centre and I had to stop myself from buying one of everything from Seed and Cotton On Kids (and I mean for myself). Both stores have so much to offer and are super stylish.
Cotton On Kids– This brand is always bang on trend. Their products have amazing patterns, comfortable fabrics, and of course the all important affordable price tags (cheap cheap). What I love about Cotton On Kids, is that they take the latest adult fashion trends and spin them off for our kids to wear.
You can style a pair of their basic leggings and match it with a casual jumper, or style the same leggings with one of their dressier collared shirts. Their combinations really are endless. I took a few snaps of both my nephews to not only show you how gorgeous they are, but so you could see how the Cotton On unisex range really is super stylish and easy to wear.
Seed Heritage Kids– This is another Brand that I absolutely LOVE. They are a seriously well known brand and have fabulous styles ranging from wee bebes to Teens (and then of course for the older crowd too).
Seed currently have an amazing winter collection, you can choose between casual and dressy and their range is neutal and timeless. Their prices are a little more up market but I guess you pay for the quality of the brand. It’s always nice to have one or two quality pieces in your wardrobe, this relates to kiddies as well.
I know kids get dirty, they run a mock and they don’t really care what brand of clothes they are doing all the mischief in. But obviously it’s the parents who get a kick out of seeing their little ones looking oh so FAB. There are four locals to Karrinyup who are totally smitten with their new Seed get up (the four bags of lollies I provided also helped) The Hall siblings really know how to rock the camera, absolute stunners (can I take them home for my own?). I can’t wait to stock up on some timeless Seed pieces (I may or may not have already bought a few goodies for my Harvey Bebe Glory Box).
