I adore knitwear, anything knitted makes my heart skip a beat. From teeny tiny babies clothes, to super cosy blankets. And of course I can’t forget stunning cardis and jumpers for little old me.
It’s unbelievably cold here in Perth right now and all I want to wear is something that’s going to keep me warm but also still look and feel gorgeous. I’m still dreaming of the day we install a toasty fire place in our living area. We have central heating in our home now which is really lovely and warm, but I still think the beauty of a fire place would be immensely magical. They just look so darn fabulous- I keep picturing a scandi inspired wood cabin, hidden in the snowy hills with the fire place blazing, with me all rugged up in an oh so gorgeous white chunky knit. Of course our home is no where near the snowy hills and it’s certainly no wood cabin, but a girl can dream and this girl can still have the chunky knits!
These are my favourite knitted gems right now from Blossom & Glow– I can’t get enough of them! I adore their knits pretty much enough said! They do offer a maternity range as well, so the pieces I am rocking below can be worn even if you’re pregnant.
The grey poncho is a newbie and I’m totally smitten with it. I didn’t think I would be a poncho kinda gal, but surprisingly it really suits me and I don’t want to take it off. I love the loose rolled over neck line and I adore the softeness of the knit (some knits are too stiff and itchy, but not this one). I’ve teamed it up with a soft white basic shirt and denim jeans but you can dress it up with black pants/ leggings and boots and it changes the whole look. I wore this out last night and I was strutting around the house totally loving the look (normally I hate everything I wear, I’m never satisfied with how I look).
Their Black oversized delux cardigan is super warm and a great length to wear with leggings. It has a great texture so you just want to keep stroking it (in a non creepy way). It’s one of those staple pieces that you really should just have on hand in your wardrobe.
The chunky white scarf is also a must have, if you’re like me and need every part of your body to be covered up just to stay warm. This scarf is a really soft material and doesn’t itch my neck- It looks perfect teamed up with a white tee and jeans.
The grey chunky cardi, really is just that- Super chunky and super delicious. It has a waterfall look to the front so this type of cardi is perfect for hiding any lumps or bumps (or baby bump if you have one to show off). If you’re looking for a cardi that’s thick, warm and trendy then this is a goer!
