The Lay family have been part of my life for the past decade. Natasha has been an incredible support, even with the long living distance between us. I was really honoured when she asked me to capture her family in her new hometown. Tash had to convince her hubby to get these photos done, and afterwards, he was so thankful for them.
Candid family photos are something that most of us put far down on our list of priorities. But Tash wanted to capture the kids at this sweet young age, as if to capture and stop time itself. To look back on and cherish a time where it’s hectic, and bursting with love all at once.
We drove into Tuart National forrest, a place where their children Macey and Marlow play for hours on end. Somewhere that means so much to them all. We found a magical little spot where the sunlight was glistening and just peeking through the trees.
The only thing holding us back from dancing around longer at this session, were the giant mosquitos begging to have a feast on us all!
